Introducing Petrie, our Burren beauty!
I found this little lady on the road April 2nd this year. She was soaked, unconscious, suffering from hypothermia – and very tiny. I brought her home. My son massaged her to raise her temperature. My daughter performed CPR. An hour and a half later she was out of the woods. She needed night-time feeds and a lot of care. In the early days when I left the house I put her in the hood of my jacket. She slept a lot.
Twelve days later she opened her eyes…
And started to explore…
… despite appearances – it got hectic..
Petrie met her housemates. They were not fans of her energy, curiosity and sharp teeth. Anyanka was horrified..
Toby and Ziggy equally so…
However, Beanz got on board. He taught Petrie how to hunt, and taught her manners
They became best friends …
Ziggy played with her more and more…
Petrie is family now …
